This system is a reverse osmosis filtration for food industry:
Equipment single and double stage with and without the electro-demineralization for the production of water for food industry, PW, HPW and WFI according to USP and PHARMACOPEIA EU, the water "tailored" for the drinks.
HOW DOES THIS WORK
This reverse osmosis filtration system for the food industry is different from other filtration systems, in which all the water passes through the filter rapidly leading to the saturation point and therefore requires the replacement of the cartridges or filter itself, the reverse osmosis system implies a kind of "by-pass", which generates two different out-flows:
• the "concentrate", containing the salts which do not pass through the membrane and are discarded;
• the "permeate", which is the result of the treatment.
In reverse osmosis filtration food industry system concentrate performs a process of continuous washing of the membrane, and so guatantees perfect operation of the plant for a long time before requiring a real chemical washing.
The concentrate can also be used in other applications where water with a relatively high content of salt can be accepted, or simply discharged in accordance with the provisions of the rules.
